Wow... So it has been awhile but I am back to writing because the mood has struck. And by mood, I mean situation, and by situation I mean..... well you know the deal...
The situtaion.... A comment made as a joke to a picture on Facebook.
The issue..... Someone as always takes offense....
The result.... the lose of a friend...
Ok seems easy enough but what I don't get is how someone who knows me as a joker and general funny person would take this comment so personal that they would in one fell swoop totally drop me as a friend. I guess I am wondering what is the true test if a friend is a friend. I mean wouldn't a friend know that you are only joking and tell everyone to calm done. Especially when you have made the same comment earlier to them. With no offense taken. but I guess that was the test. And then I wonder is it me.. or is it someone else. Ok I'm better now that I am done ranting... Now back to work....

just because its a joke does NOT always mean feelings dont get hurt. and just because it was a joke does not always mean it's okay to say......... so do you mean someone can say something hurtful to you, and if they say it was a joke makes it ok? ... something to think about. and also, even if they know you are a joker, maybe that is something they don't like jokes said about. also, facebook is public. maybe they were ok with it being saID to them as a joke but not on a public forum where others may see as well.....
